To start with all 3 arrangements, floral foam was used as the base to hold the flowers, it was then placed in a round container. In all arrangements were the same flowers used; 1 rover, 5-7 leather leafs, 4 liastris', 4-5 solidasters, and 3 carnations. In the fan arrangement the leather leafs were first placed to be fanned out... is the back/tallest part in arrangement, next the solidasters were used to come out just after the leather leafs, was also used to fill in any gaps amongst the arrangement. Then was the 4 liastris' placed to peak just a couple inches above the focal flower (rover), after carination's were placed to hover behind the rover creating the fan effect to the focal point. Lastly the rover wwas placed towards the bottom of the arrangement followed by more solidaters to fill in any gaps and space left. The asymmetrical arrangement was a formed an "L" eye drawing shape to the main focal part of the arrangement; all flowers were placed in a line off setting each other by just a little. First to start the leather leafs were placed in the back and to the sides of foam facing outward, Next were the liastris' placed in a line just off setting each other, following were the carination's placed just under drawing the eye to the rover. The rover was placed as the focal point at the bottom. Last to finish the solidasters were used as filler to make the arrangement look more full and finished. The third and final arrangement was "round", the rover was placed directly in the center as the tallest flower and focal point. Then the liastaris' were placed towards the sides followed by the carination's just in the outer middle. This creates triangles amongst the flowers, then making it easy to finish with the solidasters placed in the gaps of triangles formed. Finally the leather leaf was used to make a skirt/bibble like look to the round arrangement.
